Students' Knowledge Base Group is a non-profit student group funded in 1999, by students of BUTE's informatics faculty. Over the years, the group tested, developed or deployed various leading edge, mainly open source ICT collaboration platforms. By 2006 the knowledge base consists of 3 web portals and dozens of e-mail lists, only the static content overwhelms the Encilopedia Britannica in size.
